Started from a dream to serve the finest Cantonese - Chinese cuisine, Mr. Hendra Wijaya opened a small restaurant called in accordance to the name of the road where it was build, which is "KDS" form the abbreviation of "KUDUSAN".
By maintaining the quality of taste and service, makes this small restaurant keeps growing. Finally in 1984, it moved to Jl. Gatot Subroto 9C which was occupied for about 20 years.
In order to maintain our commitment to provide the best for customers, the management considered a more spacious and comfortable place for the customers, so on May 9, 2004, KDS Cantonese Restaurant occupies a new building on Jl. Araya Megah 1, supported by alacarte, a wider and spacious Hall, and modern cooking equipment.
